First Comment Spam on WP

I got my first comment spam on the new and inproved WordPress version of Keks today… some gambling crap I believe… didn’t follow the link, just deleted it along with a comment in relation to it, and added the related IP to the spam list… but I can’t go on doing that forever, otherwise I’ll end up with another pain-in-the-arse like the MT site which preceded this one.

It appears that there is a solution… WP Hashcash.
