Due to the early victory, there were 3 other candidates left in the running when distribution stopped… they were
Mel’s Random Ramblings, Watchdog of the Wankers and Pavlov’s Cat who had 17.5%, 17.5% and 12.5% respectively.
As the 50% criteria had been achieved, there was no need to distribute the remaining preferences as The Road to Surfdom could not be caught.

beating everyone with a massive 52.4% of the primary vote, which meant no preferences were needed. For the record Problogger.net was second with 14.3% and the others nominees weren’t far behind.

Coming from behind to defeat Larvatus Prodeo who prior to the last distribution was a good 8.6% ahead, but thanks to nearly 100% of Jungle Jamie’s preference going to Samuel Gordon-Stewart, Larvatus Prodeo was deprived of a victory in this category after having lead all the way from the first round. Primary vote was 23.4% to 22.1% in favour of Larvatus Prodeo.
